Day 3 - Part 1 Rolling in hay of rhymes in the hypnotic cave, definitely brought back memories, good ones, nonsensical ones, everything. From the haystack, some ridges for you below. Before you get the taste of it, have some hay What a world in miniature that touches upon even the greatest themes The recurring miracle of phrase that evokes such images of pure delight as to reverberate through the mind, echo upon echo William Shakespeare himself had fed upon the fruit of the great tree of rhymes rhymes are the special provinces of childhood. Their lineage goes back to beginnings in which adult mind reveled, found release and recreation Small wonder, then that for children the nursery rhyme is "the beginning of wisdom" Statements true to themselves says Sane gollum. Dungeon Gollum shouts, what is up with that shakespeare one? And what is up with the other two on top? So you are happy with the bottom two? If yes, I will get back to you on the other three [...]
Day 2 - Part 3 Continued from part 2 - As the authors define the signatures of literature, some fantastic lines start to pop up in those definitions. Here are some a)Fantasy invites originality by the nature of its being. b)Literature only exists to express and develop that imaginative world which is our life. the kingdom which is with in us. c) Mere literary knowledge is of slight importance. The only thing that matters is, how it is known. The facts related are nothing. (Quote by Alfred Whitehead) d)The written structure breathes for the work and surges through it like a tide of life blood. e)The master key (here they are referring to 5 signatures of literature ) unlocks the treasure of enjoyment f) It does not matter what they (pupils) know, but the enjoyment is vital Having finished that page, recouping the thoughts, random or otherwise, on the lines as I read them here are some of them, often wondering how these can be pinned on the atlas [...]
Day 2 - Part 2Wondering about the recording children literature in our land did not do any wonders, so went back to the book. The next two pages will be part of this episode. Well, we'll see if it can be more than that. Authors go on to say Read as deeply as you can, and after a while you will recognize for yourself the signatures of literatureThis is true in the sense, but not limited to, factoring on how deep the receiver or reader's capabilities are. While most of the reading breed, think they are good readers, talking to them does get you the opposite impression. Deep thought about the read is as deep as the reader himself. Deep thought is as deep as the read itself. Deep thought is as deep as the book itself. And we, the reading breed need to have deep reading capabilities and deep thought about what is being read ? I doubt it, so much so that, the lighter the thought and the lighter the content conviction is, the better the book is. Meaning the books with lighter [...]
